PRS, Paul Reed Smith Wood Library Custom 24 Artist Grade Flamed Blood OrangeOriginal price: $4109.00This is a special order Wood Library selection that a local guitar shop here in Seattle ordered in 2014/2015. Artist Grade Korina flame top that was hand book-matched. The pickups that were hand selected are the highly sought after 57/08 and let the dark ebony fretboard create a unique, yet very PRS sound ring like a church bell. the Korina body and neck do change the sound a bit from a standard wood, but in my opinion, create even more usable tones and allow you to venture outside the ordinary PRS tonal window. Dare I say, it even pushes towards the....lets just say...kalamazoo sound. This baby has the PRS Birds paua with green ripple outline, has the hybrid hardware, and pattern regular neck profileThe weight is a very comfortable 7.2 lbs. Also comes with the bomb-proof PRS hard case, all the paperwork and my very own signature of a piece of napkin that is absolutely worthless. ;-]I honestly thought I'd keep this forever......One last thing, these cases are wicked heavy and I have the shipping cost pretty high. If shipping and insurance for some reason is cheaper, I'll throw the extra in the case.
