The 1984 Hamer Prototype was the first original design by Hamer. This amazing instrument features a double cut-away Mahogany body equipped with a Kahler USA flat-mount tremolo w/bar, a 3-way pickup selector switch, a two-way coil-split toggle switch, one volume knob, and one tone knob. Occupying the bridge position is a Hamer triple-coil pickup, and in the neck, a slanted Hamer single-coil. The straight, set, 22-fret Mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays outfitted with Hamer 3x3 tuners, the scale-length is 24.75". The guitar is in very good condition for its age, with minor dings and a single paint chip in the subtle, yet beautiful gunmetal grey finish. Included are the original hardshell case, as well as the original purchase receipt. The guitar is 100% original, and I am the 3rd owner. The neck is straight and the instrument feels great. Made in USA.
