A superb French certified violin bow made by Emile August Ouchard ca. 1930 with an exception of a button that is made by C.N. Bazin. This wonderful bow was made by E.A. Ouchard during the period of working for his father, Emile Francois Ouchard. The model is quite personal, strong and elegant, very beautiful and similar to the head style of E.A. Ouchard cello bows of the first period. The stick is branded "TOURTE".
This is excellent example of the maker's work in a very fine state of preservation.
The stick is orange-brown pernambuco of excellent choice, octagonal, strong with a perfect flexibility, good balance, solo level tonal quality and superb handling. The length of the stick is 72.8 cm and the weight is 59.5 g.
