I wire amps in my spare time and have another one for sale. This is another fender 5f2 circuit (super champ) with a tone control and volume. It was completely wired and built by me in my basement laboratory.It has a single electro harmonix 6v6, brand new groove tube 5y3 and a brand new electro harmonix12ax7, so its about 5-10 watts. I have a brand new wgs veteran 30 12" 8ohm speaker in it. I hand cut the turret board, pressed all of the turrets and installed every component. Carbon composition resistors and sprague capacitors where it counts. Electrolytic caps on the tone side. Heyboer transformers. Both brand new. Red indicator jewel. Grey pearl and silver tone and volume knobs.I ordered chassis blanks from a dealer in Arkansas and cut every hole myself. I couldnt find a good faceplate so I just made one out of a piece of brass. Output transformer can hold either 4 or 8 ohm loads, and both have their own jack.It starts to break up about 3/4 of the way and full blast can get almost metal. Head cabinet was custom made by mojotone and is olive tweed with a silver matrix grill. I put some lincane aluminum over the holes in the back baffle so you couldnt stick your fingers in the chassis while it was on. I like to be able to see all the guts!Again everything is brand new. I finished building this a couple months ago and have probably only played it for a total of about ten hours so everything is barely broken in.
