The Shelton Electric Instruments SkyFlite IV offers traditional tones with amazing versatility. Twenty one pickup combinations via 4 pickups. The ultimate recording guitar. Because the top is never high enough, this is SkyFlite. The SkyFlite IV is a Swiss army knife. An astounding 21 pickup combos are available including series and parallel switching. The pickups are the heart of the guitar. A Porter S90 and Vintage Custom S are at the bridge, Porter 1960s in the middle, and a Porter 1950s at the neck. The pickups are hooked to a custom harness that offers traditional 5 way switching along with versatile series blend and push pull tones. The medium C shape neck has a 9.5” radius fingerboard with medium frets. A vintage style vibrato, Gotoh staggered vintage tuners, and a Tusq XL nut deliver reliable performance. The finish is Charcoal Frost Metallic nitrocellulose lacquer and is complimented by a red faux tortoise pickguard. This SkyFlite has been Artifact Aged to resemble a well used instrument.
