Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop 1958 Reissue Heritage Cherry Sunburst Hand Selected By Gibson USA for Japan 2014 Beautiful 2014 Heritage Cherry Sunburst R8 "hand selected from the Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee by the representatives of top Japanese dealers with the highest knowledge of Gibson Custom Instruments". Beautiful top on this one as you'd expect from a hand selected R8. Curly maple with stunning 3D maple flame and mineral streaks. The maple flame on this one is really nice. Complete with all case candy inc certificate of authenticity booklet & also the separate corresponding hand selected certificate, both bearing the guitar's serial number. Spare historic switch-tip, spare circular back plate, case key & all tags, booklets etc. The dark vintage aged rosewood fretboard is especially nice (pics). Obviously no issues at all, no breaks, repairs or modifications. Complete with original historic pink velvet crush lined Lifton reissue hard shell case also in great condition. Has had the full VOS treatment from Gibson's custom shop so some intentional light ageing all over. She also has a bit of light playwear all over, so some light scratches, a tiny patch of worming on the back, not even through the clearcoat. A little bit of edge wear on the headstock.
