1924 Steinway & Sons Model M Grand Piano – Reconditioned Steinway M Grand Piano Introduction   This 1924 Steinway Model M is from the "Golden Age" of Steinway manufacturing. The soundboard, the pin block, pins, strings and action are all in excellent condition. The piano is a joy to play, with the classic Steinway M Grand piano tone and action response. We have been pleasantly informed by a Steinway technician that our piano has an improved bass sound than the usual Steinway M grand piano he hears. The piano plays beautifully, and has been set up to the authentic Steinway grand piano settings.   The Action   What a wonderful piece of workmanship. The "Golden Age" of engineering and design is apparent with this beautifully restored original Steinway M grand piano action. All authentic parts have been used in the restoration process and set up to deliver the classic Steinway Model M touch.   The Keyboard   The Keyboard is in excellent condition and has been professionally set up. The touch is responsive and satisfying as a result. Every key has been cleaned and the all important spacing, height and overall key level have been adjusted using new felts and spacers etc.   The Sound - Hammers, Strings and Soundboard   The strings are in prime condition and sound fantastic, being of fairly new condition there has been no need to change them. The hammers have been voiced and are pristine, with lots of felt. The soundboard has been professionally refinished, so is in excellent original condition and resonating in full. All of these essential parts of the piano perfectly work inharmony contributing hugely to the classic "Golden Age" Steinway M grand piano warmth and richness.Specifications
