Selling my fantastic 100W original Marshall JCM800 head. I love this amp, and it has always been great to me, but it's time to move on. This one is in very good condition, and has the famous "extra gain" mod, done many years ago by famed amp tech Chris Davis. On the rear of the amp is a switch to go between STOCK and HIGH GAIN, and then the dial next to it boosts the amount of gain. It's an amazing mod, that was very common for metal players or "lead" channel type sounds. This amp was recently retubed and biased, and has been used very little since. It is in fantastic shape, save for a few tiny almost unnoticeable specks of white paint from stenciling gear, years ago. Otherwise, barely any nicks or scrapes. Normal wear and tear for a 30 year old amp. Also has some China pencil markings on the face, which will easily come off, if desired. Sonically, it is amazing. Big, loud, tons of bottom, searing top end that it's known for. You will not be disappointed. Buyer pays actual shipping.
