Selling some of my stuff to fund a new project.This is a very special Original (not a reissue) Gibson Designer Series Flying V as favoured by the ever popular Ryan Adams. I have included a photo of him playing a guitar just like this one on the Tonight show a few weeks ago, there are videos on youtube if you care to have a listen :) I think it looks Bad Ass!!It comes with a Gibson Hard case in Tan with a pink interior which alone are worth about £150.The pickups are all original Tim Shaw dirty fingers and are easily the hottest, warmest, filthiest pickups Ive every heard - Look 'em up, they are worth around £400!!
The guitar is in excellent shape for its age and the Nitro celulose laquer is checking beautifully. There are a few knocks and bumps here and there but there are no nasty chips and no headstock breaks. the Tuneomatic bridge is all original to this guitar, I believe other versions of this guitar came with a Kahler trem which looks ugly and dated IMHO. Dont think the knobs are original but they suit the guitar and can be easily changed.I want to help you buy this guitar, send me a message if you have any questions and check out my other auctions for a JEM 7vwh and an ESP KH3 amoungst other stuff. make sure you check out all the photos so that you are happy with the condition, it's 33 years old so don't expect pristine. get in touch if you want to make a deal :)there will be no returns on this item, make sure you are happy and have studied the pics before purchase.
