This is the Warm Audio Tone Beast Preamp. It is in amazing condition and is a very versatile unit. Based on the API 312 preamp, the Tone Beast has the same qualities when it comes to guitars, vocals, drums and bass. This unit has Cinemag transformers and can be pushed very hard for some pleasing saturation or run very clean and present. There is a +6 DB tone button which will bring any microphone to life. For the low output ribbon mics, this is a piece of cake. I love this unit because of its "3D" qualities and its forward push for rock music. It's subtle qualities sit very nice for R and B, Pop and Country. I'm telling you, this thing is like a Swiss Army knife!Go to Warm Audio's website to get a peek at what this thing can do. It always remained covered in between sessions, and always remained free of dust.
