This is a hard-to-find 1976 Gibson ES-175T or Thin model. The ES-175T was made from 1976 to 1979, and was an ES-175 with a 1 7/8 body thickness. From what we can tell, the serial number may indicate that this is an early 1976 ES-175T (maybe one of the first ever made). Often referred to as the "Poor Man's Byrdland" for its similar Byrdland feel and look. The guitar features: a Sunburst Finish, Chrome Hardware, Parallelogram inlays, and a bound neck and body. The guitar has upgraded Grover Tuners. No cracks or crack repairs (there is some natural finish checking on the top and elsewhere, not in the wood itself), with the original store sticker on the back of the headstock. This Guitar comes with its original hard shell case (OHSC) with the original owner's name stenciled on the case lid.A beautiful Gibson from the Kalamazoo Plant ...Weight is roughly 7 lbs ...Feel free to contact us for purchasing questions and various options for payment ...
