This is a 1967 Gibson J-50 acoustic guitar. {The bad first}. Someone has painted the head stock black. The serial number is very evident on the back of the head stock. I called the Gibson factory and they gave the info I have about it. Also the sticker has been removed inside the hole. I'm not sure about how to get a replacement for it. The guitar is very structurally sound. The top is flat with no buckling of the wood. The neck is straight and it isn't pulled loose anywhere. The top does show some wear. The sides and back are in above average condition. Overall it plays pretty good and has a very nice tone. It has a real good set up on the strings. If you are looking for perfection, this one isn't for you. But with a little time and effort invested, it would make a great guitar with a lot of life left in it. Email with questions.
