This is one of the coolest guitars I've ever played! There's a lot of mojo in this mahogany body that words just can't describe. This guitar was toured and recorded with Nine Inch Nails, Puscifer, and Telefon Tel Aviv by Joshua Eustis. This guitar was used during NIN's last tour during every show, and was featured on Puscifer's album, Conditions of my Parole, in addition to being the sole guitar used on every Telefon track that had a guitar on it. This guitar really has been through it all. I'm going to be shooting myself in the foot for the rest of my life for selling such an amazing guitar that's been played and recorded with such amazing bands. The guitar has been heavily modified by Josh Eustis, but most original parts are in the case if you wanted to restore it. I'd recommend just leaving it as is though because it sounds like a beast and I haven't altered it at all since receiving it from him. The neck was sanded down to make it slimmer than most explorers which gives it a very quick neck. Playing it is a breeze. The downside to the sanding though is that the serial number is difficult to make out. From what I can make out of the serial number it reads as 324796 which puts it as being an early 76.The pickups have been swapped for Handwound customs from Arcane Inc. out of LA. The original bridge pickup is included though. The Neck Pickup is at 7.55k with Alnico 3 magnets, and the bridge is at 9.2k (not a typo). The pots were swapped with the pickups in 2011. Originals are also in the case. Eustis had a pro refret done using tele wire which gives it a really low smooth feel all the way up the neck. All the way up to the 22nd fret is buttery smooth and crystal clear. The tuners were replaced with Grover locking tuners. The original tuners are in the case. The bridge, tailpiece, and nut have all been replaced and all of the originals are in the case. The guitar is able to be completely restored to original condition, but why would you ever want to? The imperfections are what makes this particular guitar so cool! It was played and RECORDED with Trent Reznor and Maynard Keenan! Who cares if some of the parts were swapped to make it sound better? There's plenty of honest wear and tear to this guitar, but she's still gorgeous and plays like a dream. It comes with a handwritten letter from Joshua Eustis and the original hardshell case.
