Product Description This Elite TX 1778TX-4CS features Ovation’s Mid-Depth Bowl, which is ergonomically designed for comfort in any playing position. A solid cedar top and Ovation’s legendary lightweight, yet high-strength bracing, give this guitar tremendous sonic power. An ultra-thin finish allows the soundboard to resonate freely, and soundports on the bass-string side of Ovation’s sculpted cutaway composite body enhance lower-frequency projection. Shaped to offer the fast feel of an electric guitar, the slim, nato neck delivers fast action, while the OP-Pro preamp and OCP-1K pickup produce uncompromising plugged-in performance. What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the authorized refurbisher couldn't find anything wrong with it. No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. This is a discontinued model. It looks and plays like new. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.
