For sale, a Brauner Phantom V Microphone The V is Brauners most versitile of mics. We have two Brauners and they are studio workhorses, dealing well with both high SPL's and ambient settings but with detail that Brauner have become renowned for.. from upfront pop vocals to shimmering acoustics, simply great sounding on pretty much anything you point them at and known for needing very little post production due to their trademark airy high end response. The phantom V's have the abitity to change their frequency response to 3 different settings which not only change between omni - Figure-8...etc, each setting insinuates different high frequencies which let you sculpt the response of each instrument or placement. This is the main reason they are the most versatile in the range, having an extra capsule compared to the standard Phantom which only has one and one setting.Brauner's reputation speaks for it's self, amazing German manufacturing, taking on from where Neumann left off, replacing the U87 on most modern classical recordings as their clarity is unparalleled. Will be sad to break up our pair but we don't do enough stereo recordings to warrant keeping 2. Happy to ship abroad if needed, please contact if you need a shipping quote. Pictures are from the Brauner site but it is in great condition and has been looked after in a smoke free studio.
