Vintage Correct Parts is proud to offer, for your consideration,
A fantastic and original
1981 Fender International Series Stratocaster!

This is a KILLER example of a very cool piece in Fender history.
Made in the final years of the legendary Fullerton Factory, the "international" series stratocaster was engineered to stand out from a growing crowd of strat style metal guitars.  They came in very unique finishes such as Sahara Taupe, Monaco Red and Canary Yellow.   This example is a rarely seen sunburst model.   While the color looks like a standard 3-tone Fender sunburst in the pictures, in person it looks quite a bit cooler.   Instead of the first ring being black, it's a dark opaque chocolate brown.   This guitar is in insanely good condition and is 100% original right down to the frets, strap and case.    The original pickups sound phenomenal and it plays perfectly. This one-owner example has seen very little play time, incredibly clean dare we say "near mint" save a little finish flaking by the tuner posts on the headstock face. .The pots date to the 12th week of 1981 making this a very early example of this rare model. All original case candy includes:
Original strap (untouched / as new)Original Trem arm (untouched / as new)Origianl molded case
