All Original amazing survivor!  This is a National EG685-2RG hollow body. It has a rosewood front, side and back. The body is triple bound and is in great shape. It shows the usual minor discoloration, some checking and micro scratches for a 47 year old guitar. Absolutely no cracks or separating. The neck is beautiful. It was just set up by professional luthier in Minneapolis. It's straight with low action. No fret buzz. No dead frets. Frets have been leveled and polished. They are the small vintage type...not jumbo. The neck has a rare triple binding. Very cool with no fret ends...tucked under the final binding layer. The unusual double mother of pearl inlays 3rd to the 17th fret really make it. She's a little law breaker with the "lawsuit open book" head stock. Great iridescence on the MOP National inlay. All the electronics work perfectly. The two volume and tone sliders are amazing...literally no static from any of them. It has the original tremolo arm and spring and function perfect. Collector quality glossiness to this guitar...and I hope it finds a good home. Not a kids guitar. Issues, what guitar doesn't. The A string tuner is hard to turn sometimes...when tightening. Missing the the original pick guard. The small screw spots are already there if you want to add it back. That's it.  Sound? Great blues/jazz sound when rolled off. Nails Rock-a Billy and rock classics. The bridge pickup is great...clear and bright. It has this crazy awesome jangly Rickenbacker sound when strummed between the bridge pickup and the bridge. Seriously, it's this sweet harpsichord tone. I have never heard this type of sound from this type of guitar before. History: Came from a older collector who likes off branded unusual/original custom guitars. He bought in the 70s and hung it up with the rest of his collection. Said he played them very little and feather dusted them often. I believe it.I will offer free shipping that includes professional packing and insurance. All sales final. A great addition to your collection. Thanks for looking.
