Product Description The Standard Balladeer 2771AX features a hand-selected, deluxe AA solid-spruce top with scalloped bracing, and Ovation’s Contour Bowl, which maximizes acoustic output and is ergonomically designed for comfort in any playing position. A cutaway offers full access to the satin-finished, 5-piece mahogany/maple neck, and a traditional center soundhole is inlaid with an oak-leaf rosette and adorned with mother-of-pearl. The Balladeer’s OP-Pro preamp and OCP-1K pickup produce uncompromising plugged-in performance. New Retail Price = $799 Our Price = $669 (save $130!!) What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a minor finish flaw on the side of the body (see photo). No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. Aside from the minor cosmetic flaw, it looks and plays like new. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.
