For auction is a very rare model Ovation Deacon guitar. This guitar has the small, rather than large, pickguard, which was only used on a handful of Deacons, and better shows off the wonderful grain and figuring of the body. The guitar, which comes with the OHSC, is in excellent condition. There is one small dent on the headstock very close to a tuning peg, and which can easily be repaired, and one of the two switches on the pickguard has been replaced, but all electronics work perfectly. The Deacon features an active tone circuit powered by a battery, providing bass and treble boost and cut as well as a notch filter.
