1962 Fender Jazzmaster, Olympic White. This guitar features a full body/neck refinish in Nitro Lacquer by Fiesta Finishes™. It has also had a pro refret. Note that this is an early '62 and hence a Slab Board. Note also, that this guitar was originally Olympic White from the factory, as evidenced by the original paint still in the cavities. Naturally, we restored the guitar to its original Custom Color.The guitar is otherwise original other than a reproduction trem arm. Electronics, including pickups, pots, tone cap, jack, etc., are all original. Hardware including tuners, trem, and bridge, are original. Plastic parts, including guard (no cracks/breaks), knobs, and pickup covers, are original.The serial number is 74XXX. Neck date is 2-62. Nice, bigger C shaped neck for the period, measuring .822" at 1st fret, and .981 at 12th fret. The guitar weighs 8.3 lbs. Neck pickup measures 7.8K Ohms, bridge pickup measures 7.9K Ohms. Pots are coded 304 6152, and 304 614?.The guitar ships in its original brown Tolex Fender case that is in excellent condition for its age.The guitar sounds and plays as good as it looks.
