Since it was released in 1931, it continues to be at the center of the music scene constantly, and continues to attract numerous players D - 28! It is the world's most famous acoustic guitar!
This arrival is a D-28 made in 1978, 78 years with many fans especially in the long history. Spruce TOP, Rosewood SIDE & BACK, Mahogany NECK, Ebony Fingerboard & Bridge, 42.9 mm nut, 25.4 inch scale, Original · Glover USA Peg, Black · Pick Guard, Non Scallop · Bracing. Although the pick guard is exchanged, it is exchanged to drop the PG which blows paint into the original position, and there is no discomfort at all.
Sound is good rising, sounds with a tight spirit! In the 70's of 28, the sound is somewhat stiff, but the sound that can be comfortably escaped with span as well as the mid-range sweetness inherent in the 70's is certainly felt, and again from the one of the 1980s Painting, it is gorgeous and cheerful sound!
Condition is age and scratches, feeling of use, aged feeling is there, but the conditions as instruments are exactly maintained. Martin cracks peculiar to Martin of this age are on the inside of PG, but firmly adhered, reinforcing cleats are struck from the back, so there is no problem in strength. Other scratches, scratches, scratches, etc. accompanying use are included in aging. Although it can not be said that it is a beautiful individual nevertheless, it is only scratches that seem to be musical instruments normally used as an active person, so there are no unnatural scratches, and it has become an appearance with aging of years. There is a scratch bumping against the side of the 1st string peg · post of the head TOP only, who worried about this? I feel it.
The neck condition is good, the string height at present is set on the 12 frets on the 6 string side 2.7 mm, on the 1st string side about 2.0 mm. Since there is only a margin in the saddle, I think whether it is possible to make adjustments up to about 2.4 - 1.9 if I think to fall. The frets are rubbed together, there is no dent like the current situation, the height is still sufficient.
The case seemed to have been able to choose between blue and black around 1978, but it seems that at that time it was a novelty black choice (laugh) ●Condition neck is good
