Up for sale is this very rare 1920's vintage one piece Bb LP Albert system clarinet, for Carl Fisher of NY by Buffet Crampon of Paris. It has a grenadilla wood body, solid nickel alloy keys, and an extra large bore of .590" - With 6 rings, rollers, and an articulated C#, its ideal for Jazz! It is in great vintage condition, with good tenons and chimneys, no repairs to body, but missing the Alt. Ab/Eb key: I guess it was getting in someone's way, but I wish they'd have saved it! This was fully overhauled : disassembled, body soaked in oil, keys swedged and countersunk (to remove lost motion), body and keys buffed, all new Pisoni leather pads and cork installed, and reassembled and adjusted for optimal play-ability. It has a big, warm, open tone, is even through the registers, and has good ergonomics and intonation. I am very pleased with this instrument! Comes with a vintage (possibly original) case in solid conditio1950s Bb Albert system pro clarinet by Keilwerth of Germany. It is grenadilla wood with nickel plated keys, a large bore of .590", and is in great vintage condition, with no body cracks or repairs. Logos on both main sections, others unmarked. It has been disassembled, swedged and countersunk, body soaked in oil, body and keys buffed, new Pisoni tan kidskin pads and cork installed, and reassembled and adjusted for optimal play-ability. Big, dark tone, very free blowing, with good ergonomics and intonation. I am really pleased with the play-ability of the instrument! Comes with vintage case in good condition.
