This is a very nice, close to mint CL-20 acoustic, including an under-saddle pick-up and end pin jack socket.It's now 20 years old but has seen very little use. Fret wear is negligible - I can only see a mark on the fret on the D string first fret. It was originally owned by a bass player acquaintance, and largely lived in its case and I bought it to be a daily player as I try to keep the fingers moving, but I've kept grabbing my Fylde Ariel parlor guitar for my daily picking session, so time to pass this fine US-made instrument on to someone who will get more use out of it.The top is nicely ageing solid spruce, it's gaining that yellow tone, and the body is a wood I'm not familiar with, Chechen. The machines are Grovers and have some light tarnishing.It has nil damage / repairs to the wood of the body or neck. There are some very fine scratches and a couple of short ageing finish cracks along the grain on the back. If you zoom the photo of the lower part of the back and look halfway between the case catch and fabric hinge, you may be able to see one of these.The top looks outstanding, one very fine short diagonal finish scratch near the strap pin a couple of inches in the direction of the low E string. I can't see it on the zoomed-in photo of that area, but it's there. There are also a small number of light pick marks that missed the pick guard. Please look carefully at the photo that clearly shows the strap pin and you'll see a white margin between the binding and the wood in two places. Those are finish cracks where the join between wood and binding was not 100% smooth, taking too much finish which has now cracked.Then please scrutinize the next photograph, of the top side. There's a diagonal scratch in the finish above the bright U-shaped effect - that's the most serious defect. There's a very small nick in the edge of the black binding roughly above that. Not visible in the photographs.Finally there's a tiny ding on the finish at the back of the headstock on the corner above the G string tuner. I can just about convince myself I can see that in the headstock back photo.The case is the right size, not too tight a fit and is also in very good condition. I have the keys.I'm not a routine seller of guitars - I tend to keep them and, yes, I have too many - but I do know how to pack them, detuned, with packing within the case and well wrapped in an outer box.This will be shipped Fedex Ground and will be fully insured. It's my responsibility to get it to you in the condition it is in right now.Please ask questions if that helps.
