It's difficult to find an E. Schmid triple under $10,000. This one is priced to sell.I have maintained this horn well and had an extremely qualified brass repair person in the DC area recently give it a thorough cleaning and some minor adjustments.I bought this horn in 2015 from Jeff Fair, principal horn of the Seattle Symphony, who used this horn for his winning audition. The horn has endured the travails of frequent playing. It has about 85-90% of its lacquer. It was played frequently because it is a great horn. The inside of the horn is much better, with good compression on all seven valves. The keys move quickly.I am including a hand hammered bell with garland. If you were to play it you would find the fluid sound that Schmid horns are famous for having. You could enjoy the feeling of using that extra thumb valve and having those notes above the staff just pop out. It's like putting a Ferrari in high gear.I found that even though this is a full triple, it fit every case I tried (Marcus Bona, Wiseman). I will not be selling it with a case.I am willing to consider all reasonable offers. Please ignore the shipping costs that are quoted. They are incorrect. Shipping will depend on where it goes, but will probably be around $150-$300. Buyer pays for shipping.
