This listing is for an extremely cool and beautiful Gretsch White Falcon G 6135 DS Model electric guitar. It has been carefully stored in a private collection and meticulously cared for.
The guitar still looks new and it's in near mint to mint condition, with no dents or dings. Fred Gretsch original built the first White Falcon in 1954 to take to the music dealers show, and display it as a " one off " showpiece. However, that guitar, was the talk of the town, and every dealer wanted one. So in 1955 production was started for the new White Falcon Model.
With all of the gold hardware and gold metal colored binding, contrasting against a pure white body and neck, this is often referred to, as the most beautiful guitar ever built.
At first glance, this guitar looks like an original vintage 1955 White Falcon, and those often sell for $20,000.00 to $30,000.00 or more. However, this one was was made at the Japan ( Terada ) Factory in 2011.
It's five years old but you wouldn't know it but looking at it.
The guitar still looks new and all of the gold hardware is still in great shape too.
The original MSRP on this guitar was $4549.00 so you can save a lot of money on this one.The original Gretsch hardshell case is also included as well as some case candy that we're including. As you can see, there's a very nice Gretsch catalog ( with a White Falcon on the cover) a trading card / picture of a White Falcon and some literature, plus three factory Gretsch picks ( A Gretsch Nashville / Western Orange Pick, a Tortoise White Falcon Pick and a pure white White Penguin Pick )
