Here’s a very old Lachenal & Co. Concertina, made in London. It is a 48 button model, serial number 51928, which seems to be a late production for these. Comes in the original hexagon case. The bellows seem to function- I can’t see any holes anywhere. The leather strap on one side has separated due to age, and there are some cosmetic cracking to the exterior wood. I don’t know how to play this thing, but when I press buttons and move the bellows I hear notes. On the case, the handle on top of the case is missing, and there is a crack in the wood near the lock. I don’t have a key, but it is unlocked. Very rare instrument! Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. California residents add 8.225% tax. Happy bidding!!
