It's widely known that Gibson builds some of the finest banjos out there. And none finer than their vintage ones. This plectrum dates to 1964. We obtained this fine piece from the banjo's original owner, whose father bought it for him brand new at Finder's Music in Escondido, Ca. in 1965.The banjo is in excellent++ condition and appears all original except perhaps the head. We have set-up the banjo with new Martin strings and have it tuned to "Chicago tuning" D-G-B-E. Action is sweet and she plays just fine. No fret wear to speak of. This banjo also features a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The PB-100 has the standard Gibson multi-ply maple rim with a scale length of 26 3/8".The PB-100 will ship with original hard shell case.
