Neck pickup is louder than bridge pickup - I use the neck for lead work so its perfect! Vintage single coil pickups have hum and microphonic, an accepted part of getting great vintage tone.
Guitar is used so has some finish imperfections and wear. Vintage guitar pickups can be microphonic and as single coils can be noisy and have hum - that is the trade-off for the great tone they produce. You accept that fact if you bid/buy this guitar.
