This is a 1979 Vintage Fender American Stratocaster guitar neck, made in Fullerton, CA, USA. All original except for the tuning keys, which are new, genuine Fender 70's style chrome tuners. This neck features the era-correct 3-bolt hole pattern (this method was used from 1971-1981), neck angle adjustment disc and thin, soft-V profile (between a C and V).
The neck heel is a standard Fender size and will fit any body that has a neck pocket with standard Fender dimensions: Fender, Warmoth, Allparts, USACG, Mighty Mite, etc. I have a 1979 Fender body up for sale on a separate listing.
Model: Fender American Stratocaster Wood: MapleProfile: Soft "V" Radius: 9.5" Nut Width: 1.5625" (1 & 9/16")Finish: Polyurethane Tuning Keys: New Fender "F" logo 70's style chrome Origin: Fullerton, CA, USAThis neck is used but in Good to Very Good Condition; the front of the headstock has some extra holes where a Kahler string retainer was mounted (these were filled). Also some cigarette staining around that same area. The back of this neck was professionally refinished; it feels like new. The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions, the frets are in Very Good condition with no grooves or flat spots that affect playability (much of the original finish is still on the frets, which shows it wasn't played a lot).
