Player's Perspective
The Jazz Bass has long been the go-to choice for scores of bass players in pretty much every genre of music. This American Vintage '64 model pays tribute to the bass by letting you get as close as possible to real thing without emptying your bank account. This sound of this bass is classic J Bass tone: rich, full, dynamic, and easily molded into a whole array of sounds. The neck is a tad slimmer than earlier models, so it's very fast and comfortable whether you're simply holding down the groove, slapping up a storm, rockin' out with a pick, or playing sweet, sweet melodies in the upper registers. This is a perfect item for the collector or Jazz Bass enthusiast, but it's also just a great instrument that will make any serious groover happy.
