For sale is a 1977 (Made In Japan Serial # I776368) Ibanez Musician MC300 in Walnut Finish. This particular guitar is an example from the first year they were made, it's an MC300 from the year before they started with the active electronics. I've included a pic from the 77 catalog. You can tell it's not an MC200 by the inlay on the headstock (being inlaid pearl instead of a gold sticker), gold hardware and the switch placement. Everything on this guitar functions perfectly, I believe the tuners may have been changed to Grovers but I can't see any evidence of old tuner marks. The neck through design and the way the neck is set makes this guitar especially comfortable for playing up to the 24th fret, easy access everywhere. Cosmetically there are the typical dings you would expect with a guitar that's 40 years old, I've tried to picture the bigger ones to the best of my abilities, nothing that affects playability at all.
