For Sale are original vintage parts from a 1955 Gibson Les Paul Junior. The 1955 Les Paul Junior was converted to a 1959 Les Paul Standard with vintage Gibson PAF pickups and hardware installed to be most period correct. I have had these parts on the shelf for a while and have now decided to sell them as part of my Spring cleaning campaign.
Here is an opportunity to upgrade your newer Gibson Les Paul Junior with authentic vintage Gibson 1955 parts! The P90 pickup sounds great (very sweet)! Disclaimer (please note): the left 3-in-line Kluson "top-most" tuner was bent. I tried to fix it after removing it from the guitar, but only damaged it beyond repair. Thus I cut the top one off; filed and reshaped it into a 2-in-line (see picture). This may seem sacrilegious, but that’s what I did. My logic was a single Kluson tuning peg (which can still be obtained) could be added to complete the third tuning peg. Otherwise it may be of no use and could be replaced by another 3-in-line Kluson tuning peg (purchased separately). Parts included in this auction are as follows: (1 P90 pickup and dog ear cover (Output 7.93K Ohms) (1 Pickguard (no screws included) (1 Rear cover plate (no screws included) (1 Truss Rod Cover plate with screws included (2 Strap buttons with mounting screws included (2 Barrel head volume and tone knobs (1 3-in-line Kluson Tuning Pegs with screws included (1 Modified 2-in-line Kluson Tuning Pegs with screws included (6 Kluson washers I accept PayPal and will ship within the United States.
