VINTAGE 1966BUFFET R-13 "GOLDEN ERA" WOOD CLARINET. SERIAL # 89338.
COMES IN ORIGINAL CASE. CASE HAS WEAR AND TEAR DUE TO AGE, BUT CLOSES PROPERLY.
COSMETICALLY, CLARINET IS ABOUT A 7.5 OUT OF 10. 10 BEING NEW.
THERE ARE NO CRACKS ANYWHERE ON WOOD.
THERE IS ONLY A SMALL CHIP NEAR EDGE OF LOWER BODY. NOT THE LOWER JOINT. NOTHING MAJOR. ALL JOINTS ASSEMBLE NICE AND SNUG. PLATING IS ABOUT 98% AND JUST NEEDS POLISHING. ALL KEYS AND MECHANISMS APPEAR TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. PADS DO HAVE MAJOR DISCOLORATION AND WILL PROBABLY NEED REPLACING. CLARINET PRODUCES A BEAUTIFUL RICH TONE. WHAT A PLAYER! JUST NEEDS SOME TLC.
