This guitar, unusually for resonators, is made of solid woods. It is an amazing resonator guitar, with a spider bridge, dobro style and fitted internally with soundposts in the manner of the famous Tim Scheerhorn guitars. Michael Messer raved about the Lebeda dobro, reviewing a more basic model, but I can't find the review today. This guitar was around £1500.00 new, and the same model last retailed at that price. There are some knocks and dinks, but nothing substantial. The logo has some faint scouring marks on it, which were there when purchased. I think it's probably from a clip-on tuner. The Quarterman cone was upgraded (it was tired) with a National Resophonic Beard Legend ($80), the spider is the #14 ($60) and the saddle a top quality ebony and maple ($20). I think, by the time postage and import fees were paid the upgrades cost over £150. The cone is still bedding in and opening up. I've looked around Denmark Street several times and have yet to pick up a dobro that rings like this one. There are better ones I'm sure, but this is up there with the expensive high end instruments. The guitar is fitted with a Headway split pickup HE4, which cost £200 and was installed professionally. Comes in a fitted case.I know I'm going to regret letting this one go. Just to be sure, this is the roundneck version ! UK SALE ONLY.  SHIPPING TO HIGHLANDS AND ISLANDS MAY INCUR A SURCHARGE.
