A cathode-biased 35 watt amp is obviously not going to cut it as an everyday bass amp, at least not today. For a guitar amp however, you know exactly why we're excited! A single 15" Supro TB15 speaker, a 5u4GB rectifier tube and cathode biasing all lead up to an amp that when pushed, is built to produce all of the full range of your tone comfortably and fully! Max this amp out and listen to the harmonics in the clean ranges of your guitar knob! Then, roll your guitar volume up and check out the natural overdrive of this amp! Cathode biased 6L6 output sections have such a cool, thick, chimey tone to them, especially when you get them cranked up!It has been said that Jimi Hendrix used the Supro Thunderbolt to record his hit single, Hey Joe. Now if you ask us, that's tone!!!This amp has a lot of power. If you're looking for a bedroom amp, this probably isn't for you. This amp is meant to deliver it's goods at a fairly high volume. It uses a single Volume knob and Tone knob with a High and Low input.
