Advertised for sale here is a rare 1966 Gretsch Astro Jet in all original condition.These were only made from 1965 to 1967 and were Gretsch's effort of a high-end solid body electric. The Astro Jet is made from a solid mahogany body and neck, the bound fretboard is rare and highly expensive ebony and the pickups are, so I'm told, Gretsch's most expensive production of pickups; the DeArmond Super'Tron twin-blade humbuckers. The Gretsch Astro Jet is basically a Gibson SG on acid! That's probably the best way to describe them. If you're a Gretsch collector this is a relatively rare piece which is waiting to be added to your collection.I'm happy to ship to most countries upon request.
