For a brief period Fender relied entirely on guitars manufactured in Japan until it could get its new plant open in Corona, CA. This is one of those rare guitars from that period. These mid 1980's MIJ guitars are considered by many to be as good, or better, in quality than the USA models.This guitar features olympic white finish, white one ply (vintage) pick guard and a maple neck with rosewood fretboard.Overall the body, neck and headstock are in great condition. The minty rosewood neck has a great feel and plays like a dream.Low action, plays and sounds like you would expect from a vintage Fender! 8-hole classic pick guard, all original including screw-type tremolo arm.Comes with GIG BAG.
