Excellent+ condition Gibson Custom Shop ES-5 Switchmaster just in! One of the baddest jazz boxes of all time. 3, count 'em, 3 '57 Classics each with its own volume and tone. This one-owner 2014 model is super clean. •Highly figured maple top, back, and sides•Flamed maple/walnut neck•17" body • 25.5" scale 1 11/16" nut •Pearl block inlays(3) gold covered '57 Classics w/ individual volume & tone Special 4-way lever pickup selector including positions for middle and all 3ABR-1 bridgeTrapeze-style loop tailpieceGold hardware and multi-ply binding packageThis is an insanely nice guitar. It's in excellent condition,but since you can't see it in person, here's a critical hands-on description:Shows some mild playing wear on the pickguard, fine pick/nail marks that could be buffed out if you don't mind the sticker removed. Gold hardware looks great but the pickup covers have very mild discoloration in the gold plating under the strings. Standard aging but worth noting. There is some very faint checking on the neck on the bass side toward the heel as shown in the pics. No nicks, dings or major scratches. Includes original Custom Shop logo'd hardshell case.If you've been checking out fine archtops, give this one a second and third look. Plays like butter, sounds fat and clean. A wonderful Switchmaster ready for a new home. UPS Ground shipping within the continental US only. PA residents add 6% sales tax.
