There are No electronics cut into the guitar and no cutaway. The Taylor matching hard shell case in excellent condition is included with the original Taylor paperwork and truss rod tool included. An all original real deal "built for great acoustic tone" acoustic Taylor. No issues. This is one of the best built Acoustics ever. The tone is magnificent in both lows and highs. It plays effortlessly both finger style and strumming. Stays in tune for shockingly long periods and everything about the tuning low action and intonation is spot on. You won't find a better playing/sounding Taylor even if you spend thousands more on a new 500 series up to the 800 or 900 series. My neighbor brought jets custom one of a kind hand made independent luthier acoustics and sells them all over the world for $5,000 to $10,000 and we gave both played this Taylor and his custom Acoustics. 100% true that we both found this one Taylor 414 to be at the top if all those guitars, it is an amazing g guitar even if you paid $thousands more to acquire it. It's Taylor perfectly fitted case is like new . I am older and can't play much anymore so on my other 3 USA Taylors, a USA Martin and a USA Breedlove Oregon Concert Acoustic I put on extreme light gauge strings (10's /11's) to make already easy playing guitars even easier to fret. This Taylor 414 is my only Acoustic that I use 12's because it plays absolutely easier than my other good quality guitars play with 10's or 11's. I haven't pulled it out often but this guitar on recordings and just to play for the ease and pleasure is fabulous. I cannot imagine any guitar lover not wanting this one forever. I have priced the Buy It Now it in my opinion hundreds below what it is worth. I am not selling because I need the money but because I truly don't want this to be wasted on me with my very little playing these days. This never had any holes drilled for electronics. It's A straight Acoustic. However, The Taylor factory in El Cajon, CA in San Diego will (for $300 out the door parts and labor included and warranty ) will do a factory installation of their 2017 Taylor Expression 2 system if you desire. That would make this a one of a kind guitar. A 414 with modern factory installed electronics. Alternatively and for little cost simply mic it or use a portable pickup. I used a pop on-pop off (in 30 seconds) Duncan acoustic humbucker ($89) for the occasional amplification and it sounded great through a Fender tube amp or a Fishman loud box Mini or Fender Acoustasonic. Please ask any questions. Bid strong or buy it now and you have a great guitar and bargain even at the Buy It Now price. Look at my 100% rating. I only have sold my own guitars that I purchased and played myself and I am extremely picky when I buy. I spent a long time looking and trying guitars before getting this . Once I saw it felt it heard it as I played It took about a minute to recognize this is a special guitar. Whoever gets this will be pleased .
