All Original 1972 Guild S-90 Electric Guitar, Natural finish.  This is a slightly "stripped down" version of the S-100 model, which features the same dual humbuckers, dot markers, and only one volume and one tone control.  Christy Hunt of the band Pink Mink plays one of these.  A unique style feature not found on the S-100 is the full-size pick guard.  Having owned many S-100's, I can tell you that this S-90 is very close, especially in all the important ways - feel, playability, and fantastic tone from its highly coveted HB-1 pickups!  A lot of guys have trouble describing the tone of these HB-1's, so I'll do my best.  Think PAF, but with considerably more bite & crunch.  Imagine early Iommi Sabbath tone combined with a good bit of a Malcolm Young Gretsch type of sound (early AC/DC riffs) and that will get you pretty close, at least to my ears.  They are also loud and have a fairly substantial output.  As an example, I have another guitar with Gibson Burstbucker 1 & 3 pickups that can't really hold a candle to these.  The Guild pickups have a good 25% or more output (to my ears) and will break up my amp with significantly greater ease.  Plus they just sound so damn good while doing it!! This is, of course, just my opinion but I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed with the tone.  This particular S-90 is in overall very good shape, but does have its share of scuffs and scrapes, as any 45 year old instrument will  The neck has a few very minor nicks, but is itself very good as well.  The first 4-5 frets have slight wear only and still plenty of life.  At some point during its life, the standard open-back tuners were changed out for nicer ones.  Original Guild hardshell case with homemade handle included.  Please see all pics and feel free to ask any questions.  Thanks for Looking!.
