What makes this guitar special: A first year model in superb condition, with fabulous resonance and that classic Ric tone. This one plays like a dream, with an outstanding neck profile that is sure to have you plucking away for hours at a time. It’s also super clean for its age, with no major wear. These are also increasingly rare, and tough to find as a 6-string, much less in jetglo. It’s been professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play.Cosmetic condition: Great condition for its age, with some light playwear throughout. There are various surface scratches visible, and some light buckle rash on the back of the body. In addition, there are a handful of small dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs, most of which are visible only under particular lighting. Frets show some mild wear, but still have a lot of life left in them. Cosmetically, this one is an 8/10.Body: Double bound semi-hollow maple body in jetglo finish with slash soundhole and step-down white plexi pickguard. “R” tailpiece and covered six-saddle bridge.Weight: 9 lb, 2 ozNeck: Medium profile “D” shaped maple neck with double bound rosewood fingerboard and pearl triangle inlays. 1 5/8” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Frets show some light wear but still have a great deal of life left in them. Chrome sealed Grover tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rods work as they should.Electronics: Dual Toaster Top single coils (Bridge-8.28k ohms, Neck-8.18K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch. Dual volume and tone controls, and boost/blend knob. Standard and Rick-O-Sound outputs.Case: Original hard shell case included.
