the amp is in great working condition. light usage no gigging.the following is perhaps an idiosyncratic description of the amp. It is not meant to be an exhaustive account of what this amp can do. I am sure there are many other tones that this amp can produce... just as a stratocaster and les paul have a characteristic sound and feel, this amp has a 'rectifier' sound of its own. if you are looking to get a sound that is within the spectrum of what this amp has to offer then you will be satisfied.the lead channel has incredibly hi-gain and sounds aggressive. better lead tones are achievable on this channel because the mid knob has a different band equalizer than the rhythm channel.the best tone that this amp has to offer is the nuanced 'reverberating' sound of note changes while playing distorted chords. whether it is zz top, weezer(blue album), metallica(black album), and many others, this amp is great for sculpting rhythm tones. the amp breathes especially well when used with a tube screamer as a preamp which gives the tone a saturated feel.big foot channel selector, and power cable included. speaker cabinet not included. serious inquiries only.
