Up for sale is an Ibanez SR885 in Laser Blue. There are a couple of blemishes as show in the pictures, but overall it is in wonderful condition, especially given the age (online says mid 90s).
It has active pickups which a 9v battery is needed for and that battery will last about a year of moderate playing, depending where you have the tone and volume set.
The neck is a very very slender long scale making this bass easy to play and the action is near perfect height.
Despite the slender neck, I have never had a problem with it falling out of tune with humidity/temperate changes within reason of being indoors.
The case has one of the lock flaps missing, but all 4 locks still work if you spin that one by hand.
It currently is equipped with (put on 3 months ago) D'Addario XL Chromes Flatwound Bass Strings (Warm/Mellow) for a 5 String and they sound/feel amazing.
This is a great bass, I just don't have the time to play anymore with a toddler.
