International add £10About the MP512This is Soundskulptor's truly stunning API variant, the MP512 500-Series preamp designed by Jean-Pierre Kuhn in France.While there are a number of API type clones out there on the market (and some a little cheaper) we think the MP512 is the BEST out there if its the 1970's/80's LA Sound you're looking for.Sound-wise, what you're getting is a preamp that has the warmth of an API 312 but with a lower noise floor and higher gain. It also very slightly brighter highs and sounds simply incredible. The warm tone of the Cinemag input and output transformers, with the combined advantage of DI... make this a superb alternative to spending almost double on an API 512C which in our view, is not on a par with the MP512.The DI stage at the front, and impedence switching features make this unit worth every penny.
