**I will ship and postage is included in Buy It Now price****Pickup is from Taroona, Tasmania**Fresher Les Pauls – Standard and Custom - made in Japan 1980sIt pains me but I have to let these babies go. Les Paul Standard and Custom models from 1980s Japan, so you know they're pretty good.
They feel like the real thing. I've had Greco and Tokai in the past and I'd say they're up there with them.
Fresher were produced during the 70s and 80s. From research re the logo, it seems these are 3rd or 4th generation Freshers.Both guitars: Good weight, correct shape. The necks are maybe slightly less wide than a G*****.
A few bumps but nothing major for guitars of this age. Necks clean and straight. Frets good. Low action on both. Hold there tuning pretty good too.Standard: Original Gotoh machine heads. It has a new bridge and tailpiece (original missing when I bought it). It is missing the toggle knob (but I may have one somewhere) and I wired out the tones, but you could wire them back in. Interestingly, tapping the wood (behind the bridge), it sounds like it is semi hollow.
Custom: The metal parts are showing some pitting (?) but they all still function. The white has aged nicely to a yellow, for all you Randy Rhoads fans. Looks cool! I'm not sure if the logo and diamond are hidden under paint, or you can see a trace from where they were removed, but at the right angle in the light you can see them (or the trace). Comes with the functional hard case.Any questions just ask. As noted, pickup available or postage included. Price is firm. Sold together.
