This is a 1989 Epiphone Les Paul Standard. It is Gibson's first overseas manufacturing step. It is made in Korea by Samick. It has that beautiful open book GIBSON head stock. The only year this was done. This guitar has really great upgrade working towards that 58-60 sound. It is closer to a 1960 with slim taper neck. This guitar has Lindy Fralin pure PAFs, Fabre locking stop, Gibson ABR bridge, Tone Man wiring harness with Bournes potentiometers, oil in paper capacitors, and CTS switches. New SKB case. The neck has the long tenon joint. This guitar screams! There are character dings here and there. Zoom to see them. Action is outstanding. Better than any Epiphone you can buy off the rack.
