Musikraft 5A Flame Maple Neck for Warmoth/Fender Clapton Stratocaster/Strat

# Frets are leveled, dressed, and polished.
While expensive, this often forgotten step is much needed for any new neck from Warmoth/USACG/Musikraft to ensure a neck plays optimally.# I applied thin coats of semi-gloss polyurethane finish, for a fast playing feel. This is nothing like the thick glossy finishes found on production line instruments.# The neck has is especially comfortable thanks to its 10-16" compound radius paired with 6105 stainless steel frets.# Last but not least, the neck is made of a single piece of highly figured (5A) flame maple. This particular piece is quite stunning with a deep 3 dimensional effect.
Overall, more than 9 hours of labor went into making this neck exceptionally playable (most of it for rolling the edges and leveling the frets).Here's a summary of the specs:

Clapton Soft-V profile: 0.81" @ 1st fret, 0.89" @ 12th fret.
10-16" fingerboard radius paired with 6105 stainless steel frets. Stainless steel frets last far longer than traditional nickel frets, and provide an extra slick feel for smooth, precise, and effortless string bending. The compound radius further enhances overall playability, providing optimum comfort for soloing at higher register frets, and playing chords at lower positions.
Gotoh Vintage-style locking tuners: these preserve the typical vintage look while maintaining perfect tuning stability. I especially like those (or the Gotoh variant) as they are significantly lighter than modern locking tuners from Fender/Schaller.
This is hardly the first time I offer necks from Warmoth/USACG/Musikraft.
