Hello Selling my 1985 Gibson Explorer. I have owned this guitar since 1996 so its been slightly over 20 years and its in the same condition as when i first got it. Taken care of and is a unique guitar. I havent played for many years and it just sits in its case. It was refinished sometime before my ownership. The back plate that covers the electronics has one missing screw but the guitar itself functions perfectly fine and has no problems. Serial number seems to have been slightly sanded on or if its just been worn down but this is the exact same condition the guitar has been in since i got it in 1996.Nashville Plant, TN, USAon December 12th, 1985Production Number: 14 -3 way selector switch-Dual humbucker pickup configuration-Original Grover tuners 16:1 ratio -tuneomatic bridge-Mahogany Body -Neck is either maple or mahogany -Fret board is rose wood
