Product Description The Guild CV-2 has a solid red spruce top, solid flame maple back and sides with scalloped red spruce bracing. Made with the F-40 body style that has been in the Guild line since 1955, the CV2 incorporates new technologies like the patent pending Guild® Graphite Neck Block System for exceptional tone, playability, and longevity. Rich features include a bound ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, abalone dot inlays, and ivoroid body binding. If you want a loud, projecting guitar with versatile sound and an easy-to-hold body shape, you'll find the Guild CV-2 to be just what you're looking for. What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issues found by the authorized refurbisher were some minor finish cracks in the body binding. The cracks were expertly repaired by the refurbisher - completely sealed and re-finished (see photos). No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. Aside from the minor binding repairs, it looks and plays like new. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.
