Fender Custom Shop Rory Gallagher Stratocaster Relic Artist Series Signature Model Used Electric Guitar! Just in on trade! Used! Just in on trade. The Rory Gallagher Signature Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop is modeled after one of the most coveted guitars of all time - Rory Gallagher’s own heavily worn 1961 Stratocaster guitar. Fender initially built 40 replicas for European sale, but was subsequently besieged with requests for more. The Rory Gallagher Tribute Stratocaster guitar is an exact replica of that revered instrument, down to the extremely worn Three-color Sunburst alder body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. It even has five Sperzel tuners and one Gotoh tuner, and the 12th-fret dot marker is white plastic rather than the original clay. It also features three custom-wound ’60s single-coil pickups, aged chrome hardware, 21 jumbo frets and a bone nut. An homage to a true and truly missed master. Like all our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get, including the original hardshell case, Custom Shop certificate of authenticity, strap and cable. No serious issues, wear or damage other than the obvious factory relic job. It does have a 5-way switch installed.
